"If you've gone through a lot of rainstorms and it seems like it's never going to stop coming down on you, I want you to know that if you keep going, it doesn't make you tarnished, or damaged. It makes you clean."
Hello everyone and welcome to our FIRST.EVER.EPISODE! We have been wanting to make a Taylor Swift-related podcast for so long and as you’ll hear in this episode, we felt now was really the perfect time!
As promised, here’s a quick recap and some of the things we talked about in this episode:
Want to follow us on Twitter? You should, here’s our handle: https://twitter.com/threeofushoney. We post quality content like this time Margot carried her Taylor Swift Amazon box around manhattan and photographed it.
The best outfit we’ve ever made: Shannon’s reputation stadium tour outfit. This is the one that got us a retweet from Taylor Nation and is the sole reason we never put on those ponchos at the MetLife rain-show performance!
Okay more details about this INCREDIBLE rain show. It was MetLife day 2, and we believe TS said it herself on Instagram that this was the first time she was getting on stage and it was already pouring. Here’s some before and after photos where you can see the water took it’s tole on our looks but not our hearts:

And last but not least, we highlight the famous “Drunk Taylor” and if we’re being honest….this is how we always dance to her songs so we think this one’s pretty normal:
Thank you so much for spending the time reading this and listening to our podcast. This truly is something we’ve wanted to do for YEARS and finally gathered the courage to do it! We’re excited to see where this goes and so happy you’re on this journey with us.
My Taylor Swift-themed podcast is OFFICIALLY LIVE!! Still waiting on Apple’s approval but you can listen to it on Spotify here: http://bit.ly/TaylorTea
Someone asked me today why I was so “obsessed” with Taylor as a human but also her music and I guess when it comes down to it, the whole reason I first started listening to her music was because I was young and had all these emotions I couldn’t process and didn’t understand…until I heard them in her songs. Her music helped me to make sense of my confusing adolescence- the pain that someone caused me, the heartbreak I felt for someone that never loved me, those hopelessly romantic moments….all of them….she wrote about in her music. And now when I listen to her songs, I have people in mind for each one. To me, Tell Me Why is about a boy who broke up with me on Valentine’s Day. I’d Lie is about a boy I was crushing on as my friends and he sat around a fire pit during a summer night before my sophomore year of high school. I Knew You Were Trouble is about a recent person in my life….and so on and so on.
And I think that’s why we’re all such “obsessed” fans, right? Because her music helped us navigate those moments we were alone in. With her, you never really felt alone. You felt like your best friend or older sister was giving you the most heartfelt and genuine advice. I still feel that way!
And as we’re approaching Lover’s release, I’m so excited to make more memories. To cry about broken hearts, to laugh about happy times, to fall in love with new beginnings. I’m so excited to listen to her music, to have it memorized in a few hours, and to watch her thrive as she performs it for the world. I’m so excited and I can’t wait and I just wanted to rant about my feels about one of my best friends 💜
